Oh, Hello Stationery Co January Subscription

Happy 2018! I’m starting off the year strong by actually using my planner every day to keep track of my work schedule, chores and fun events. At the end of last year I looked through my planner from college and loved seeing everything I was up to. I’m hoping my planner for 2018 will keep me organized in the present but will be a fun trip down nostalgia lane in the future.

For the first week in 2018 I used the Oh, Hello Stationery Co January subscription. I’ve used Oh, Hello Stationery Co subscription kits in the past and loved them, but they were too big. The sticker and promotion company recently added a mini kit option that only has three sheets. It’s great for white space planners like me or for people who like a more minimal look. The theme for the month were these flamingos in the snow. Not my favorite theme, but it sure was nice to see some color in these cold winter months!

The more I used the vertical planner the more I like using a ton of stickers. When I first started with planning I didn’t use many stickers and mostly wrote on the planner. Now that I’ve been in this layout for a while I’ve been loving using kits to make a theme for the week. The Oh, Hello Stationery Co January subscription makes it so easy to do! Plus, each month I get sent a new kit. I love that I don’t have to think about ordering a new kit every month.

In the past I wouldn’t use too many checklists. Having that many “to dos” freaked me out and made me stressed to look at my planner. Since the subscription comes with a ton of checklists I wasn’t going to let them go to waste. They do the opposite of what I thought they would do; they keep me super organized and keep me accountable for getting things done. Plus, who doesn’t love physically checking off something on a list after they get it done? Sometimes that’s all the motivation I need to get a task done!
