Urban Decay Moondust Palette

One of my favorite palettes to come out as of late is the Urban Decay Moondust palette. It’s everything I love: Urban Decay, glitter and color. I’d been wanting to expand my Moondust collection, and this palette seemed like the best way to do it! I did this look a while ago, but I’m just getting to writing about it. This look was probably the easiest and fastest look to create yet it has a punch to it. Find out how I made this Urban Decay Moondust palette look down below!

This look was created to celebrate my younger brother and sister’s 21st birthday. Even though we were having a bar crawl that weekend in Boston to celebrate, I wanted to take them out for a nice dinner. We ended up going to a hibachi place near us. My sister’s boyfriend has never had hibachi before, so that was fun to watch! I don’t think any of us got a drink that night because we were all driving, but I think they had a great birthday day.

Urban Decay Moondust PaletteTo start out the look, I applied a base of Urban Decay Primer Potion in Eden to even out my base and provide a tackiness for the shadows to stick to. I then took a shimmering green from the Urban Decay Vice 4 palette and rocked that in my socket (comment down below if you know where that comes from!) Any shimmering or matte green that is similar to Lightyear will work. I then took my finger and applied Lightyear onto my lid. The Moondust shadows apply best with a finger. The sparkle comes out and appears brighter, too. And you get less fall out!

Pretty simple, right? If you want to amp up the look, you can apply another Moondust shadow into the inner corner, or apply a complimenting color onto the lower lash line. A great color for the lower lash line would be Vega or Galaxy. For this look I opted to highlight my inner corner with a matte white.

To finish off this Urban Decay Moondust palette look, I applied a thick winged liner and plenty of mascara.

You can purchase the Urban Decay Moondust palette on the Urban Decay website.
