Green and Glitter Underliner

I’ve had the picture for this look edited and ready since my last rainbow eye makeup look, but I never got around to posting about it. Right when I posted that look, I started a retail job that unfortunately didn’t pan out. Now that I have the time again, let’s start writing again!

Today I’m sharing this Green and Glitter Underliner look. This is extremely similar to the Pink Underliner look I did back in June, but this time it’s green! Underliner is my favorite way to incorporate color into my eye makeup without looking overly done or dramatic. Check out how to get this Green and Glitter Underliner look down below!

To start off the look, I applied my favorite eye primer. Even when I’m only doing eyeliner, eye primer helps my lids stay matte. It also helps the eyeliner stay on longer! I applied a light brown from the Urban Decay Naked Ultimate Basics palette into my crease for some light definition. I applied my winged eyeliner as usual.

For the green underliner, I used The Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-on Pencil in Post-Punk. It’s a beautiful chartreuse green that is electric! I smudged that out along my lower lash line. I then used the Urban Decay Electric Palette (which is on sale for $24!) to set the liner. I used the shades Freak and Thrash. For the glitter I used the Urban Decay Heavy Metal Glitter in Distortion. It creates a cool multi-dimensional color shift on top of the green. I followed it with a healthy coat of a mascara.

For my lips I used two discontinued Maybelline lipsticks for the perfect sheer peachy-pink lip. To accentuate the green in the liner and the peachy tones in the lip, I used Benefit Coralista blush. Red and green contrast, and it made the lip and the eyes pop without looking like they clashed.

And that’s the Green and Glitter Underliner makeup look! What do you think?
