January flew by so quick but yet lasted super long?? I feel like the month just started, but last week feels like months ago. That’s why I was surprised to see that I have so many January empties. Check them out down below!
- Maybelline Big Eyes Volume Xpress Mascara
This has been one of my go-to mascaras for years, but it dries up fast. Like, a month fast. - Max Factor Masterpiece Max Mascara
I reviewed this mascara last month and at the time of my review, I has been using it for a about a month, which means at this point it’s three months old. I’m usually not a stickler for expiration dates with my makeup, but mascara is the only one I find is true. After three months, most mascaras become too dry to use. I’m picking this up again next time I’m at Target. - CoverGirl Plumpify BlastPro Mascara
Straight-up, I hated this. I used it twice and couldn’t anymore. The brush is way too big to use without making a mess.
- Head & Shoulder 2 in 1 Shampoo and Conditioner
I received this product for review from Influenster. All opinions are my own.
I used to use Head & Shoulders but it never really worked for me. Either my bottle was old or they changed the formula, but this worked well to control my dandruff. There were still some days that I had flakes, but not nearly as bad as they used to be! I’m trying to use up some shampoos that I have from Fortune Cookie Soap, but after that I’m going back to this. It’s a little drying, but a conditioner fixes that! - Neutrogena Healthy Defense Daily Moisturizer SPF 30
I bought this because a different Neutrogena moisturizer wasn’t cutting it for me. This is thick and smells heavily like sunscreen, but it moisturizes without being greasy or sticky. I bought another bottle to replace this! - Dove Deep Moisture Nourishing Body Wash
The Dove body wash is my go-to drugstore body wash. It hydrates my skin, gets me clean and has a really thick lather. And it lasts forever to boot!
- LUSH Golden Wonder Bath Bomb
Golden Wonder is my all time favorite bath bomb from LUSH. It smells so fresh and invigorating, and the blue and yellow colors with the glitter and yellow confetti stars pep up my mood and energize me! My older sister gave me two for Christmas, so I have to savor that last one. I think next Christmas I have to buy a ton. One year I was able to get six in the buy one, get one sale, but since then they’ve always been out of stock when the sale comes around. - LUSH Papa Noel Face Jelly
Again, another sample from my older sister. I thought I wouldn’t like this one because it’s a jelly, but the scent perks up my energy in the morning. She gave me the full-sized and I cannot wait to use it every other morning! - Oh, Hair Shampoo Bar
This shampoo bar came in the Spring 2016 Fortune Cookie Soap box. I finally used it! I’m working on two others, but this is the first one I’ve used up. I love how sweet and tangy this shampoo bar smells, but I’m not a huge fan of the soap company’s shampoo bars. I find them too soapy, too drying and they break so easily! Plus, I can only get two or three uses out of these. They’re meant to be samples, but even sample shampoo bars from LUSH last longer. - Bliss Kiss Simply Pure Hydrating Oil Pen in Vanilla
I was hoping to refill this pen like I have with my others, but the stopper in the pen broke off and I can’t get it out. Oh well! I’ll order some empty ones and refill those to replace this one.
- Planner Kate TV Labels
Although I like to use my The Sticker Party (formerly Abundance of Erica) TV stickers, I don’t have them for all of my shows. These stickers are great for those shows or for special events like debates, speeches or award shows. - Planner Kate Winter Wonderland Full Boxes
I used these up in one of my Erin Condren spreads. Check that spread out here! - Oh, Hello Stationery Co. Blobby Mini Kit
I used this sheet up for last week’s Blobby spread. I love the mini kits! They are perfect for me since I like white space spreads and own a ton of sticker to supplement the kits. - Planner Kate Single Dot Stickers
The single dot stickers from Planner Kate are my absolute favorites! I’ve gone through at least two other sheets of these and always have at least two sheets in my collection at all times. I like these more than the double dots because I have more room to write.
And those are my January empties! What did you use up in January? Let me know down below!
