January Favorites

As with most people, a new year means an excuse for a new you. It’s finally a time to try out new things: a new makeup look, new skincare routine or maybe a new signature scent. For me it meant focussing on what I really love. That meant a focus on skincare and fragrance. Check out what my January favorites are!

1. Nest Fragrances Dahlia & Vines Eau de Parfum
   Mom bought this perfume for herself off of QVC with another perfume, but she wasn’t a fan of this one. Thankfully I love it! I’m not usually a fan of floral fragrances, but this one is so elegant, has a sweet undertone to it and doesn’t remind me of a stuffy retirement home and baby powder. Nest describes it as Dewy daffodils, peony, and rose are blended with the essence of garden vines. This combination reveals a romantic floral that exudes elegance, grace, and luxury. I totally agree! I feel so sophisticated and grown up when I wear this. (Side note: When do I get to the age where I can’t say or refer to a “grown up” anymore?)
2. Bliss Kiss Simply Pure Hydrating Oil in Vanilla
   You all know how much I love Bliss Kiss. I’ve made multiple posts about how this oil has changed the health of my nails and cuticles. The semi-annual sale ended last week and I picked myself up a new bottle of the Vanilla oil that I love so, so much. Why is this in my favorites then? I went a whole weekend without a pen near me and my nails went into disarray. Usually I keep one in my bag, but I’ve been keeping that one at work. When I got home I oiled my nails like crazy and realized just how much difference this oil makes on my nails.
3. Glossier The Supers
   I only have Super Pure pictured here, but I’ve been loving all three ever since I’ve started using them in December. I use one of them every night and occasionally in the morning. These make such a difference in my skin’s texture. Remember when I said in my review that I didn’t like Super Pure that much because I don’t have bad acne problems? Well, that came to bite my in the butt. I’ve been breaking out like crazy the past week. Super Pure has been helping like crazy! It’s probably my most used at this point. You gotta try these.

My January favorites are small this month, but I think they are great favorites. These products have helped me realize I don’t need new products all the time to make myself happy. Sometimes old or handed down products are great, too!
