Top 3 Winter Skin Essentials | The Rebel Planner

It’s winter, so that means your skin probably feels like a tight, angry desert. I know mine does! My cold last week kicked my skin’s butt and made my supple, glowy skin look haggard and like I took sand paper to my nose. After living in New York most of my life and now living in New England, I have a pretty good winter skincare routine down to combat awful winter skin. Check out my top 3 winter skincare essentials!

  1. GlamGlow Thirstymud Hydrating Treatment Mask
Y’all are probably really sick of hearing me talk about this mask, but it is a skin saver. After the height of my cold was done, I applied this mask all over my face, took a bath, and when I came out my skin felt soft and divine again. My skin felt soft again and less rough. This could even be used as a spot treatment! My nose felt amazing after a week of blowing my nose raw. This is expensive, but totally worth the money.
  2. First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream
This cream is one of the best I’ve ever used to relieve itchy, dry skin. You can use this cream all over your face and body. It doesn’t clog my pores and sinks into the skin fast. It never feels sticky and smooths over the skin easily without skipping or patching up. If you have sensitive skin, this is the cream for you. They offer a ton of sizes for whatever you need this cream for and is affordable.
  3. LUSH Floating Island Luxury Bath Oil
I’ve always been a huge fan of the luxury bath oils from LUSH, but this is my absolute favorite skin saver in the winter. Drop one of these tabs into the bath and watch as the oils dissolve and make your bath milky. These are affordable at $3.50 a tab and make your bath silky smooth. The oil sticks to your skin and lasts after you dry yourself off. Moisturize with the Ultra Repair Cream and you have incredibly soft skin. Any scent of the bath oils are great, but Floating Island smells luxurious and sweet.

Those are my favorite winter skincare essentials! What are your skin savers in the winter? Let me know down below!
