September Empties | The Rebel Planner

Today I’ve got my September empties! I used up a ton of skincare last month (like, a ton of sheet masks) and I’m excited to share my experience with them. Check out my mini reviews down below!

  1. Tony Moly Bubble Mask Sheet
I saw this sheet mask at Ulta and was so curious. I thought it might work like that bubble clay mask everyone was going crazy over, and it works sort of like that! It’s a mask only for the bottom half of the face that bubbles up. After it’s done foaming up you rub the bubbles all over the face. It felt like velvet and it made my face glow. I love this one! It was a bit expensive at $6.50, but as a treat every once in a while, this is fun.
  2. Tony Moly My Little Pet Wrinkle
This is a patch for the smile lines. This really didn’t do much. I kept it on for 30 minutes and didn’t notice anything different. I would pass on this one.
  3. Collagen Mask Pack
I’ve used this mask before and I love how firm this makes my skin feel. I have a few more left and I can’t wait to use them!
  4. Sephora Charcoal Nose Strip
I got this in a haul a while ago and finally used it. I’d never used a nose strip before this one and it felt weird. I also didn’t notice any different. It just tore up my skin and made it really red.
  5. Fortune Cookie Soap in Paradise Found and Lil’ Blue
The Fortune Cookie Soaps are my favorite and these smelt amazing! I just dislike how fast they fall a part.

  1. Neutrogena Healthy Skin Face Lotion with Sunscreen SPF 15
This is a basic, straight-forward face lotion. It worked well and did what I needed it to do. I haven’t bought it because I’m trying something new, but I highly suggest this one!
  2. First Aid Beauty Face Cleanser
I used this cleanser for travel and used it up. It took off my makeup really well and left my skin feeling extremely clean. It stung my eyes a little, but nothing too bad.
  3. Philosophy Purity Made Simple One-Step Facial Cleanser
I absolutely love this cleanser. This is my third full-sized bottle and sixth overall if you count all the travel-sized bottles I bought. This takes off my makeup so well that I don’t need to double cleanse or anything else. And it doesn’t sting my eyes! This bottle lasted me almost two years.
  4. Neutrogena Healthy Skin Eye Cream
I’ve gone through two of these now and I’m working on my third. It’s a perfect morning eye cream that doesn’t feel heavy and leaves enough moisture.

  1. Bliss Kiss Simply Pure Hydrating Oil in Crisp
I technically used this up last month but forgot to include it. Whoops! I love Simply Pure cuticle oil but I wasn’t too fond of the Crisp scent. At least I can say I tried it!
  2. CoverGirl Full Lash Bloom Mascara
This has taken the place of the CoverGirl Clump Crusher as my favorite mascara. I love how full, long and thick this makes my lashes look. And it holds a curl, too! I’m working on a different CoverGirl mascara now that I don’t really like that much but I’ll be buying this one again!
  3. NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk
This dried out. I bought a new one. It’s great for making bold colors pop more!

I used up so many things this month and I’m proud of it. I’m trying to use up what I have before buying anything new and I got to do that with my face masks and cleansers. What have you used up this lately? Let me know down below!
