Glittery, statement wings are my go-to look for when I want an impactful look that takes no time. For lunch with a friend I decided to go with a bright blue wing with fun yellow glitter. Find out how I got the look down below!
To start off the wing, I created a white wing using ColourPop Creme Gel Colour in Exit. I wouldn’t recommend using this product though. It was thick and was crumbling off after a few layers.
Next I layered Chaos from the Urban Decay Electric Palette. I wanted the color to be that bright, cobalt blue, but turned out to be a cornflower blue. Still really gorgeous though! I cleaned up the wing and any fallout using micellar water.
To define my crease I applied Makeup Geek Barcelona Beach. I did a light sweeping because I didn’t want to distract away from the wing. I also applied some onto the lower lash line.
For the glitter I used Lit Cosmetics in Hello Sunshine. It’s a beautiful yellow iridescent glitter. I used the brand’s Clear Liquid Glitter Base and dipped into the glitter. I then traced it along the wing.
Again, I cleaned up any fallout using micellar water.
For my cheeks I opted for Wet n Wild Mai Tai Buy You A Drink. I also used MAC Lightscapade Mineralize Skin Finish for a highlight.
For my lips I used a light pink gloss from Maybelline.
And that’s the look! Do you like glitter? Let me know down below!
