May was the month where I rekindled a love for some old favorites and fell deep in lust for some new ones. Let’s check them out!
- OPI Rich Girls and Po Boys
When I saw this swatched as part of the New Orleans collection, I knew that I needed it. It was a color missing from my collection and one that I needed on my nails as soon as I could. I went to three different stores trying to find it and finally found it on the fourth. This blue is so striking without being obnoxiously bright or neon. This would wonderful on the toes! - MAC Pro Longwear Concealer
This concealer was all the rage a few years ago on YouTube. Although the hype around it has calmed down, I remembered liking it a lot so I decided to repurchase it. And I love it just the same! It has amazing coverage and doesn’t cake or settle into my fine lines. And it seems as if the pump has been altered so now not as much product comes out. - Polish Me Silly Flirty
This was in my April favorites, but I’ve been wearing it so much that I had to include it again! This time I tried it over purple and LOVED the way it looked. For my next mani I’m going to try it over yellow. The blend of matte, rainbow circle glitters is so much fun and different from the matte hex glitters I have in my collection. - Fortune Cookie Soap Hair Oil
I’ve had this sample for about two years now. I got it in one of the fall boxes and I still haven’t used it up. I wanted to use it just to get rid of it, but I realized that I love the texture and smell of the hair oil so I’ve been using it every day. It adds a shine to my hair unlike other oils I’ve tried, and it seals in my split ends and calms my hair down after straightening. - CoverGirl Clump Crush Mascara
CoverGirl and I don’t have a good relationship. I’ve used their products in the past and have never been impressed. But after really liking a primer, I decided I would try some of the mascaras. I LOVE this mascara. It makes my lashes so long and full and it lives up to the claims: it does not clump. I prefer to apply the second coat after the first one dries. When the mascara is still wet it doesn’t build up well, but over dry mascara this builds nicely.
