Peach and Pink Spring #FOTD Overview | The Rebel Planner

This Spring has been a roller coaster of weather, but this week has been nice enough where I feel like I can wear pastels and not be too bright for the weather. I used my favorite Urban Decay palette to make this almost alien-like look, and if you want to recreate it, read more!

One of my go to palettes for the Spring is the Urban Decay The Glinda Palette. This palette came out in 2013 as part of the launch for Oz: The Great and Powerful. This palette it full of fun pastel and metallic shades that look perfect for Spring.

I then used a small packing brush to place Illusion, the peach shade, onto the inner corner of my lid. I stopped about two-thirds of the way towards the outer corner of my eye. With a short concealer brush, I applied the pink Magic shade into Illusion and slightly into my crease. Then with a MAC 217, I blended Magic into the crease. To deepen the look without making it smokey, I took the shimmering purple, Tornado, and applied that into the crease lightly with a Sigma E47. Then after applying concealer, I took Magic and Illusion onto the lower lash like, mimicking the placement on the lid. To add a line of definition, I pushed Tornado into the lashes. Then to finish the eyeshadow, I took the peachy-red color from the Aura duo in the palette and highlighted my inner corner (and later used this under my eyebrow.) I decided against a black winged liner and went for Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-on Eye Pencil in Rockstar instead. It’s a deep, dark purple that almost looks black. I applied this to my upper lash line and smudged it out lightly.

For my foundation, I used L’Oreal Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation. It’s been my favorite foundation lately and I haven’t been wearing much of anything else. After concealing with MAC Studio Finish and Select Cover-Up Concealers, I applied Benefit Hervana to the cheeks. I didn’t want to go with a bright pink or lavender blush since the rest of the face was so bright and pastel already. Hervana added a pink tint, but one that was warm. I then used MAC Lightscapade Mineralize Skin Finish to highlight my cheekbones, nose and cupid’s bow.

After applying the ColourPop Lippie Stix Primer, I applied Lime Crime Velvetine in Rave. I love how bright and neon this lavender liquid lipstick is. It looks my my lips are ready for a… rave (ugh.)

For my eyebrows, I used the NYX Micro Brow Pencil and used NYX Control Freak Eyebrow Gel to set them in place. I then set my entire makeup with Maybelline MasterFix Wear Boosting Setting Spray.

I love how bright and neon this look is. It makes me feel like an alien when I wear bright lipsticks like this.

What’s your favorite alien lipstick?
