#FOTD: Vice 4 C-Note

The first week of the semester just ended, so of course I needed to make a good impression with my professors during syllabus week. While I usually tend to stick to a very basic, neutral eye with a pink lip, inspiration hit me Thursday and I wore the most ridiculous first-week makeup. I love the way it turned out though and I definitely left an impression on my professors. There’s no way they’re forgetting me now! Check out how I got the look below!

Vice 4 C-Note FOTD

I told myself I needed to use some colorful eyeshadow from the Urban Decay Vice 4 eyeshadow palette that I reviewed a month ago, and the dusty blue C-Note was calling out to me. I watched a tutorial from Vintageortacky and decided to add some purple to my lower lash line.

After applying an eye primer, I applied Framed into my crease. Because I was using such cool colors, I wanted a warm transition shade to add some depth to the look. Using a Sigma E55, I applied C-Note all over my lid. I then blended out C-Note into Framed using a MAC 217 brush. I then took more Framed to blend C-Note further. To brighten up the eye, I light brushed MAC Blanc Type under my brow. I repeated this process until everything was perfectly blended. Using a ELF Small Angled Brush, I applied Beat Down to the out corner of my lower lash line and connected it to C-Note. I then blended 1985 into Vice 4 C-Note CloseupBeat Down to add some brightness. I lightly blended the colors down lower onto the lash line using a MAC 219. To make the inner corner of my eye pop, I applied the green duochrome from the Naked Cosmetics Ivory Stack (very xSparkage of me.) I then placed a small bit into the inner corner of my lid. I finished off the eye with a thick winged eyeliner using the Physicians Formula 2-in-1 Lash Booster liquid eyeliner and Benefit Roller Lash mascara.

For my face, I wanted a bright blush but one that added warmth as well. I mixed Benefit Hervana and Rocketeur to create that perfect mix. I highlighted using MAC Lightscapade Mineralize Skinfinish.

Since my face was looking a little dead, I used MAC Peach Blossom, a warm peachy-pink, to make my face look like it belongs to a human and not a zombie.

For my face, I used the Urban Decay Naked Skin foundation, MAC Studio Skin Finish concealer, Sephora Bright Future Gel Serum concealer and ELF Perfect Finish HD Powder Pressed. For my brows I used the NYX Micro Brow Pencil.

That’s the whole look! What’s the most daring makeup you’ll wear into class or work? Let me know down below!

Great look! I bought the Vice 4 a few months ago but I have yet to really try experimenting with all of its fun colors! Your look is bold and fun, but still so wearable.

Hi! I love using Flame with Bitter and Fast Ball, too. My eyes look like they’re on fire when I do that combo! Thanks for reading!
